So I figured to start things out good, for me at least, I would turn to the one thing and one of the people that I can always turn to for some great inspiration at anytime (as well as a good mood): Music in general and Jack Johnson. I find him to be a musical genius in many ways. I think he is able to put emotions into words, that are truly hard to actually put in words for a lot of people. For example, I know that it’s hard for some people to put a feeling like love into words sometimes, and I particularly like the way Jack Johnson does it is the beginning of his song “Better Together”. Here’s the lines:
“There’s no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard,
No song that I can sing
But I can try for your heart…”
If you haven’t ever heard the song, or Jack Johnson for that matter, try listening to it once, it’s very mellow…and the song is great. These are just my favorite lines from it.
